MEET OUR TEAM MEMBERS
Mark Francis
General Manager
Mark Francis joined the Starr Parts and Equipment team in 2011. Prior to becoming General Manager, Mark worked at Company Wrench. He brings 21 years of industry experience and knowledge to his role at Starr.
Mark graduated from Amanda-Clearcreek High School, where he was active in the FFA program. He earned his associate degree in applied sciences through the Ag Diesel Program at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Mark’s favorite part of his role is working with and being around heavy equipment while interacting with people from across the country and around the world.
Outside of work, Mark and his wife enjoy spending time with their two boys and working on their farm. He also enjoys camping and attending his boys’ sporting events.
Joshua Perry
Operations Manager
Joshua Perry joined the Starr Parts and Equipment team in 2021 as the Operations Manager. Prior to joining Starr, he worked at Columbus Equipment Company and brings 11 years of industry experience to his role.
Joshua graduated from Logan Elm High School and earned his associate degree in Computer Science from Ohio University.
His favorite part of his role is finding solutions and helping solve challenges.
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his family, RVing, and fishing.
Gary Huggins
Warehouse Associate
Gary Huggins joined Starr Parts and Equipment in 1999 and brings 37 years of industry experience to the team. Before joining Starr, Gary worked for Benedict Inc. and Waterloo Coal Company.
A graduate of Logan High School, Gary has built a long and dedicated career in the heavy equipment industry.
Gary’s favorite part of working at Starr Parts and Equipment is being part of a small, close-knit group of people.
Nikos Rolon
Tear Down Specialist
Nikos Rolon joined the Starr Parts and Equipment team in 2021. He brings two years of industry experience to his role as a Tear Down Specialist.
Nikos graduated from Fairfield Union High School and earned his associate degree in Heavy Equipment Management from Hocking College. He also holds his OSHA 30 and Forklift certifications.
His favorite part of the job is tearing down heavy equipment and getting hands-on with the machinery.
Outside of work, Nikos enjoys spending time fishing.
Josie Warton
Tear Down Specialist
Josie Warton joined Starr Parts and Equipment in March 2025 as a Tear Down Specialist.
A 2013 graduate of Logan High School, Josie brings a strong interest in heavy equipment and a genuine enthusiasm for learning about the machinery. Her curiosity and willingness to learn make her a valuable part of the Starr Parts and Equipment team.
Patrick Dails
Parts Counter Representative
Patrick Dails joined Starr Parts and Equipment in November 2025 as a Parts Counter Representative. He plays an important role on the Starr team by assisting customers, taking calls, and processing parts orders.
A graduate of Alexander High School, Patrick is new to the heavy equipment industry and is building his knowledge and experience each day at Starr Parts and Equipment.
Patrick’s dedication to learning and helping customers makes him a valued addition to the Starr team.
JR Johnson
Tear Down Specialist
JR Johnson joined Starr Parts and Equipment in August 2025 as a Tear Down Specialist.
A graduate of Nelsonville High School, JR also completed the Ag Mechanics Program at Tri-County from 1981–1991. He brings a strong work ethic, hands-on knowledge, and 12 years of experience to the Starr Parts and Equipment team.
JR’s experience and dedication make him a valuable part of the team, and we are proud to have him at Starr Parts and Equipment.
Drake Reynolds
Tear Down Specialist Trainee
Drake Reynolds joined the Starr Parts and Equipment team in June 2026 as a Tear Down Specialist trainee. He is currently in training and gaining hands-on experience alongside the rest of the team.
Drake is a junior at Fairfield Career Center, where he is enrolled in the Heavy Equipment and Ag Program. He is expected to graduate with the Class of 2028.
Drake enjoys learning about heavy equipment and developing his skills in the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys duck hunting and spending time outdoors.
